Cookie Policy
Last updated September 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how AUTONO LTD ('Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our') uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on http://www.autono.io and the Autono app (together, the 'Services'), and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal information more broadly.
By clicking "Accept All" on the cookie banner, you consent to the cookies described below. You can change your mind at any time — see 'HOW TO CONTROL OR DELETE COOKIES' below.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to give site owners information about how the site is used. This policy also covers similar technologies that do the same job — such as pixels, tags, and local storage — and we use "cookies" to mean all of them.
Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by anyone other than us — for example, Google or Meta, described below — are called third-party cookies. Third-party cookies let those providers deliver their own features (like analytics or advertising) on our Services.
2. HOW WE USE COOKIES
We use three categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which keep the Services running and let you sign in and stay signed in.
- Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.
- Marketing and advertising cookies, which help us measure and run our marketing campaigns.
We deploy the analytics and marketing tags described below through Google Tag Manager (GTM). GTM is a tag management system — it doesn't set cookies of its own, but it's the mechanism we use to load Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel only once you've consented to them.
3. STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES
These cookies are essential for the Services to work and can't be switched off in our systems — they're only ever set in response to actions you take, such as signing in, filling in a form, or setting your cookie preferences. You can block them via your browser, but parts of the Services, including signing in, won't work if you do.
We use strictly necessary cookies to:
- Keep you signed in to your Autono account between page loads, and across sign-up and login.
- Protect sign-in, sign-up, and account forms from cross-site request forgery.
- Remember the cookie choice you make in our cookie banner, so we don't ask again on every visit.
- Balance load across our servers and detect abuse of the Services.
These cookies never require your consent, because they're necessary for a service you've explicitly requested.
4. ANALYTICS COOKIES
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Services — which pages get visited, how long people stay, and how they arrived — so we can improve them. The information collected is aggregated and doesn't identify you by name.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and may combine it with other data it holds about you. You can read more in Google's Privacy Policy and opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
These cookies are only set if you accept them — via our cookie banner, or your later cookie settings.
5. MARKETING & ADVERTISING COOKIES
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, understand the actions people take after seeing our ads, and build audiences for future campaigns.
Meta processes this data under its own policies. You can read more, and control how Meta uses this data for ads, at Meta's Cookie Policy and your ad preferences.
These cookies are only set if you accept them — via our cookie banner, or your later cookie settings.
6. THE COOKIES WE USE

7. HOW TO CONTROL OR DELETE COOKIES
Our cookie banner: The first time you visit, you can choose "Necessary Cookies Only" or "Accept All". Clearing your browser's cookies for this site will bring the banner back so you can choose again.
Your browser: Most browsers let you see, delete, and block cookies from their settings. Since the exact steps differ by browser, see the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no industry-agreed standard for how sites should respond to it, so we don't currently act on it.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the Services working, including signing in. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies won't affect the Services themselves.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes — for example, if we add a new analytics or marketing tool. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner the next time you visit.
